TOURNAMENT DANCE

LAWN TENNIS ASSOCIATION VISITING PLAYERS ENTERTAINED Players visiting Hamilton for the annual tournament of the Waikato Lawn Tennis Association were entertained at an enjoyable dance held last evening in the Regent Ballroom. Cool green fern fronds had been arranged at either side of the orchestral dais, and an appropriate note was added by a tennis net which was suspended across the front of the stage. At the foot of the dais stood lovely bowls of blue and palest pink hydrangeas and fern, while in the ballroom coloured streamers falling over lanterns of deep pink cast a soft glow.
