HOMING PIGEONS

HAMILTON CLUB RACE FROM TAUMARUXUI The Hamilton Homing Pigeon Club commenced the young bird season on Saturday with a race from Tnumarunui, an airline of 76 miles. The birds were liberated by the stationmaster in dull weather, which developed into rain. A strong north-east wind prevailed and resulted in a hard fly, the birds taking five hours to do the journey.
