ALLEGATIONS BY JAPANESE. VIOLATION OP AGREEMENT. PROTECTION OF FOREIGNERS. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Cupyrlgnt. (Received August 13, 11 a.m.) SHANGHAI, August 12. At the request of the Japanese authorities a truce committee, . consisting of the Japanese Consul-General, the military attache, the Chinese Mayor of Shanghai, and the Consuls-General of Britain, the United States and France, has been summoned to meet. They will be asked to consider the Japanese allegation that the Chinese violated the Shanghai truce agreement of 1932 by bringing regular troops within the demilitarised zone, extending 12 miles from Shanghai. Foreign volunteers have been mobilised to protect foreign interests, and the border has been barricaded.
