SECRET SERVICE NECESSARY. ANGLICAN SYNOD’S SYMPATHY. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. A statement that the only method of communicating with the Confessional Church in Germany was through a secret service was made at the Wellington Diocesan Synod by the president, Bishop St. Barbe Holland. Synod decided to send a message of sympathy lo the Confessional Churches in Germany in the trying experiences through which they were passing. Bishop Holland said he knew an agent in England who was in touch with the German churches.
