Talks of a fabulously rich lost gold mine, worked by Spanish conquisiadores, have been revived by a report that miners in the Chiriqul provinco found 35 gold bars, each of 501 b?, wortli 900,000 dollars, also the Spanish colonial arms on crude' gold washing equipment. The police are guarding, the gold pending the settling of the Government’s claim to ownership.
