PUBLIC NOTICE. rate of 10s; exceeding £l2 10s a rote of 4 pur centum of seventy- j live per cent, of such rateable value except where otherwise provided by Sub-section 3 of Section 5 of the Valuation of Land Amendment Act, 1033. Upon all lands and buildings upon which water can be but is not supplied within 100 yards of any part of the waterworks; and upon all lands and buildings used as stores and warehouses or any other purpose than a dwelling house, a rate of one half of the full rates above mentioned. Also in respect of DWELLING HOUSES only a uniform Refuse Collection fee of 13s per annum on each dwelling from which the Council is prepared tp remove household refuse. The whole*of the above rates to be due and payable in each case in one sum to the Collector at the Borough Offices on the 25th. day of August, 1937. The Estimates on which the rates are being struck have been approved by the Council and together wtili the Valuation Roll .and Ratebook are open for inspection at the General Offices of the Council during office hours.
