James’ Hospital saved the life of a London resident vA'io was •tabbed twice In the heart, aooordlng to the Lancet. The heart was steadied by hand, and the first wound, which was three-quarters of an Inch long, was stltohed up. The heart when replaoed In the oavlty still bled and a second wound was discovered and was similarly stitched.
