AN ECONOMIC MISSION. REDUCING TRADE BARRIERS, (Omclal Wireless.) RUGBY, July 15. The Japanese Economic Mission was entertained at luncheon by the Association of the British Chambers of Commerce and the London Chamber of Commerce. Sir Geoffrey Charles, president of the British Chambers of Commerce, said that at the recent international chambers of commerce congress there was almost complete unanimity among the representatives of all nations on the absolute necessity for reducing trade barriers. Sir Geoffrey added that one could only hope that, on their return to their own countries, the delegates would be able to influence their respective Governments in that direction.
