YOUNG PEOPLE’S CLUB.
EVENING AT ST. GEORGE'S. HAPPY TIME SPENT The second of a series of young people’s dances arranged by the St. George’s Young People s Club was held in St. George’s Hall on Wednesday evening, when there was an attendance of about two hundred. A very happy spirit prevailed and the evening was warmly enjoyed. Streamers of red and white lent a colourful note to the hall, and during the evening a delicious supper was served. Excellent music played by Whitehead’s Snappy Syncopaters added greatly to the gaiety of the function and Messrs J. Warrington and S. Thompson were M.’sC. The lady members of the committee present were:—Misses U. Beckett (secretary), J. Kiddell, M. Hare, O. Fyrer, F. Fyrer and M. Sandham. Among the many present were:— Mesdames H. J. Warrington, G.
