SHIPWRIGHTS DISPUTE.
WAGES INCREASE APPROVED. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Saturday. The question of hours and several small points remain to he cleared up In the dispute between the Nexv Zealand Federation of Shipwrights and the Boatbuilders Association of workers and tfte Union Steam Ship Company and others. Settlement was reached on the question of wages, raising the rate for shipwrights to 2s Bid an hour from July 1. The second part of the dispute concerning sea-going shipwrights still remains for discussion.
