ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON
PRESBYTERIAN LADIES’ GUILD. A very enjoyable social afternoon wes held in the Presbyterian Sunday School Hall, Huntly, recently, by the Presbyterian Church Ladies’ Guild, in aid of the Waikato Hospital Chaplaincy Fund. The function was a mo*t successful one, there being a largo attendance. Mrs Rattray, of Auckland, delighted the audience with vocal solos during the afternoon, and elocution by Mrs E. L. Fraser, songs by Mrs W. Aston, Miss L. Kinson and Mrs C. Sherwin, and a reading given toy Mrs T. Chisholm, were warmly appreciated. A flower-guessing competition was won by Mrs E. R. Wright. . Mrs J. Watson was the accompanist for the afternoon. During the afternoon a dainty afternoon tea was served.
