CHORAL ACTIVITIES.

SUCCESSFUL YEAR. ANNUAL MEETING HELD. A very successful year was reviewed by the president, Mr J. Emerson, in his report to the Hamilton Male Choir at their annual meeting held in the Railway Buildings last evening. The report stated that the year had been commenced with ten members and by the end of the session this had increased to sixteen. However, several had left and others had been transferred to other districts. The average attendance at the practices was 10. The choir had. given items at various concerts during the year and it was hoped that a concert would be organised by the choir itself in order to bring It before the public eye. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr J. Emerson; secretary and treasurer, Mr A. P. Nelson; aocompanist, Mr H. V. 'Hildreth; librarian, Mr E. Truman; conductor, Mr O. Jones; committee, Messrs J. Emerson, A. P. Nelson, O. Jones, G. Ellis, H. Duff and H. V. Hildreth.
