PLEASANT AFTERNOON. A very pleasant function was en- j Joyed by the members of the Bardowie . Golf Club recently, when they held a ; social afternoon. A four-ball best-ball competition was ! held for Mrs F. Ray’s and Mrs H. j Schwieters’ trophies and the play re'- ! suited in a draw by Mrs Rutter and ! Mrs H. Jonasson and Mrs L. Wilkin- ; son and Miss Fraser, the final being won by Mrs H. Jonasson and Mrs Rutter. The putting and approaching i competition for Mrs H. Jonasson’s , trophy is not yet finalised as three members tied and the final play has J yet to take place between Mrs Ellison', ; Miss V. Appleby and Mrs P. Rutter. \
