Redwood has returned to Hamilton from a visit to Wellington. | Mrs Mason Warner, of Chicago, Illinois, United States of America, is visiting Hamilton. KITCHEN EVENING. FOR MISS ROSE KELM. An enjoyable gift evening given for Miss Rose Kelm on the occasion of her approaching marriage was held in the Orange Hall, Ngaruawahia, on Wednesday. There was a large attendance and the evening was spent in dancing. The accompanists were Mrs Empson, Miss M. Menzies and Miss M. MoGruer. On behalf of those present Mr D. McCorquindale asked Miss Kelm and Mr Gee to accept the many useful gifts. Mr Gee suitably replied. Among those present were: Mesdames A. Paterson, wearing black crepe de chene; H. 11. Kelm( tangerine cloque and silver lame: M. MoGruer, leaf green pleated geoergette: J. Johnson, black chiffon velvet and white gardenias; X. Moffat, tangerine craquille; A. Paterson, flowered silk organdie; J. Cornthwalte, white marocain; A. Cairns, black crinkle crepe; D. Kelm, black taffeta and red coatee; G. Welch, maroon marocain; K. Dooley, green cloque; A. Empson, black and silver lame; G. Wallbank, pink organdie; M. Dwen, beige taffeta; L. Rimoldi, green and black ensemble; M. I Dooley, pink matalasse; E. Wallbank, i blue silk velvet ; E. Waugh, salmon | pink silk velvet; H. Starr, pink and ! black tunic suit; M. Menzies, flowered I crepe; It. Cairns, green and black tunic suit.
