WAIKA'I'O EAST MEETING. The annual meeting of the Walketo East. Presbyterian \Vomen's Mlsslonery ‘Union was held in the Matting] church on Thursday afternoon. Mrs Thompson presiding over 21 large attendance. After the're‘port and ‘leance sheet had been read the elect-lon of Officers took place, and resulted as follows: Mrs Thompson, president: Mrs Marychurch, vice—president; Mrs Burnett, secretary; Mrs Jamieson, treasurer. The balance sheet showed a most satisfactory return and the funds will greatly assist the work of the home and foreign missions. The business being concluded a social hour was spent.
