l ._.____ FUNCTION AT PUTARURU. There was a small gathering of friends at the home of Mrs B. G. Mutton recently to bid farewell to Mrs M. Tulloch, who will shortly leave Pgtaruru. A very enjoyable play “Mary. Mary, Quite, Contrary," by St. John Ervine, was read by members and afterwards Dr. G. Campbell Mc— Dlarmld , when presenting a hook to the guest of honour. expressed the good wishes of the \V.E.A. Among thnse present warm—Mrs H. Tulloch, Mrs R. G. Hutton, Mrs E. Morris vzmd Misses J. Paterson and MeLareu.
