FAREWELL AFTERNOON.
FUNCTION AT NGARUAWAHIA. Mrs A. G. Weld was hoste'ss at a delightful afternoon given at her residence, Galileo Street, Ngaruawahia, recently, to farewell Mrs J. Irving, who is leaving for Paeroa shortly. The' afternoon was pleasantly spent in competitions, games and music. After a delicious afternoon tea, Mrs Weld, on behalf of those present, presented Mrs Irving with a set of beautiful china vases. Those' present- were:—Mesdames P R. Welch, Guy Marriott. G. Hall. A. Gameron. E. S'. D'Arcy, 11. Littlejohn, J. G. Saxon. Misses E. Ensor, E. Saul'brey, K Gcrrard, B. Ensor, I. Gerrard.
