During; the past. three years £ll5OO ‘has been allocated for children's health camps from surplus art union funds in New Zealnnd. The. Minister 01‘ internal Affairs, the lion. \\'. E, Parry, pointed out this morning that in the allocation of the funds remaining after the main al—locations for the relief of distress consideration was always given to health camps. The money was well i spent. i “0! the many praiseworthy instritntlions in New anland health camps play no minor part," he said. “ They render splendid service in building up the bodily health of children, which Ishould stand to their advantage when men and women.“ Commenting on the Esplendld way in which art- union pro—{its were handled in the relief of dis—tress, Mr Parry said sometimes he felt he could congratulate every purchaser ‘nl’ an art union ticket. '
