ClaytonGreene. interviewed today. “Not only do we anticipate having the full num—ber of 115 within a short time, but we hope to establish a waiting list of recruits." . The arrival yesterday 0! two ‘6O- - guns from the 18th Auckland Battery, which has been made an antiaincrai‘t baitiery, added 10 the two places on hand, forms the complete battery. ‘ . _ _.
Although weekly parades are‘ held‘. and occasional camps conducted at Hopu Hopu, such heavy ordinance may only be brought into action in areas remote from habitation, as the effect of local practices would be to shake buildings and to break windows even many miles away. It is anticipated that annual camps will take place at the battery range near Rotorua. _
