JUNIOR TOURIST TROPHY. WON BY F. L. FRITH. RECORD TIME ESTABLISHED. (Omcinl \Vlreless.) (Received June 16. 3.15 p.m.) RUGBY, June 15. The Junior International Tourist Trophy, over 261 miles in the Isle of Man, was won by F. L. Frith, driving 12 Norton. in three hours 17 minutes six seconds. His average speed was 80.14 miles an hour. White, on another Norton, was second, with an average speed of 77.97 miles an hour, and E. A. .\lellors, on a Verocctte, third, with an average speed of 17.9} miles an hour.” ‘ .
‘ James Guthrie‘, winner for the last ,‘ two years, was disqualified after lead‘ing for four laps. and broke his own [lap record of 80.11 mile‘s an rhour, which was also beaten by Frith, who ; set a new lap record or 81.94 miles an i hour. Frith‘s winning total time broke [ Guthrie's previous record: by two minIlutes 28 seconds. a Guthrie's disqualification was ‘canlcelled after the hearing of evidence. l’l‘he value of the second prize, £7O, which he would probably have won, was awarded the Nortons, who win the team prize.
