Payne performed the ceremony and Mrs Hodsnn 'llaycd the weddlnz muslc. The church had been beautifully arranged by friends nt the bride. Thn bride. who entered the church with her father. wore a lovely gown of while embossPd silk fashioned 011 modern lines with yoke cited. The shirt was slim filling to the knees and foil in graceful flares. and the sleeves were long and full and gathered at tho \\rist. Tiny shining .\ladonna lilies finished the neckline. She wore a tulle veil caught on either side of the head with sprays of orange blos—som and carried a sheaf of arum liliesi and mntdenhair fern. t The .\ltsses .\I. and E. Hall (sisters! of the bride) were the bridesmaids! They were similar frocks of apricot; delustered crepe. shirred and tucked. with long full sleeves. They wore picture hats to tone and carried posies. a gift from relatives in New Plymouth. of flowers to tone and maidenhalr fern.‘ .\tr 'l‘. Sommervllle was best man and Mr P. Sommervllle sroomsman. . After the ceremony a reception was‘ ‘held at: the Ritz Tearooms. which} were charmingly arranged in shades of: red. white and blue.
