THE AIR MAIL.

AUSTRALIA’S VIEWS. NEW ZEALAND ADVISED. CRecelved Feb. 22, 3 p.m.) CANBERRA, Feb. 22. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons) states it will not be possible to send a Minister to New Zealand immediately to discuss the air mail proposals for the same reason as expressed in New Zealand—namely, that Parliament is about to assemble. Mr Lyons added that, he agreed with Mr Savage, the Prime Minister of New Zealand, that it was essential that consideration of the subject should not be delayed; consequently a cablegram is being dispatched t.o the New Zealand Government advising it fully on the Federal Government’s views, and when its reply is received the matter would be fully discussed by the Cabinet.
