THE CONCLUDING EVENT
Beerescourt Hack Handicap WOTAN, MUCH FANCIED HORSE. Kilberis Has Been Working Well There are several well-performed hacks engaged in the Beerescourt Hack with Wahine Reihi top-weight with the sdlid poundage of 9.6. At the weights and over this distance she does not particularly appeal and several of those further down the handicap will be preferred to her. Whirling, if started here in preference to the Linlev Hack, should run a solid race. He has been working well and will lack nothing on the score of condition. Wotan, the Hawera representative, comes with line credentials, and if reports are correct he will prove difficult to dispose of. Enlightment and Kilberis are a solid pair who have been hitting out attractively on the tracks. The latter has been located at Te Rapa since the Rotorua meeting and should be a good prospect. Red Sand has good Taranaki form in his favour. Valrent and Queen Nona are prospects while the balance of the field comprises likely improvers who should add interest to the issue which may be summed up in favour of WOTAN WHIRLING KILBERIS
