LIMITATION OF ARMAMENTS. A DIFFERENCE OF OPINION. LONDON, Dec. 19. The Naval Conference re-examined the British proposals for the quantitative limitation of armaments. The French, Italian and Japanese delegates sought additional clarification of the practical application of it. Professor Nagano concluded: “No navy could afford to ho less than Shy other.” He slated the case for equality of armaments as against the British principle of equality of security. The French delegates reserved judgment pending consultation with their Government.
