SHOPPING HOURS.
POSITION IN HAMILTON. LATE NIGHT OX TUESDAY. While there has been no official meeting of Hamilton businessmen to discuss tlie question of closing hours during the Christmas and New Year periods, the majority of the shops will observe laic shopping nights until 10 p.m. on Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve, both of which fall on a Tuesday.
It. is proposed lo observe the usual holidays on Chrislmas Day and lloxlng Day. Wednesday and Thursday of next week, and tlm shops will close on Friday. December 2 7 a I 5.30 p.m.. and on Saturday. December 28. nl (2.30 p.m. These same hours of closing will Also lie observed on Friday and Saturday following New Year's Eve.
