NEW ZEALAND BUTTER.
A FURTHER ADVANCE. CHEESE VALUES IMPROVE. AUCKLAND, Saturday. Advices from London state that the cutter market is firmer, with a further advance of Is. in .the price of choicest salted New Zealand, which is selling at 89s per cwt., with an outside quotation of 90s. There has been a marked improvement in oheese values over the past wees. White Is now . worth 55s per cwt., a rise of 3s 6d, while' coloured has risen by 5s 6d to 60s per cwt. The following table compares the mean closing prices on the London market for the past two weeks, and a year ago:—
