DISPLAY OF WORK.
art school break-up. PLEASANT FUNCTION. A very pleasant breaking-up ceremony was held by pupils and friends of Miss Ida Carey’s School of Art in Toorak Chambers on Tuesday afternoon. A most interesting display of pupils’ work was on exhibition, and during the afternoon a delicioius afternoon tea was served. Opportunity was taken to make a presentation to Mrs A. S. Robinson, who is leaving the school. a The rooms looked delightful with ~ bowls of irises, sweet peas and gladioli. Miss Carey was wearing a frock of navy polka dotted crepe faille.
