EXPENSIVE BOOKS.
ONE FIRM’S MONOPOLY. REQUEST FOR INVESTIGATION. After a discussion in committee the Hamilton Borough Council passed a resolution last evening that the Minister of Education be advised that a firm possesses a monopoly of printing school books, that tire cost of such books is excessive, and that the Minister be asked to investigate the matter with a view to rectifying it.
