RAILWAY MISHAP.
DERAILMENT NEAR TE KAUWHATA. WELLINGTON EXPRESS DELAYED. All north and south bound railway traffic to and from Auckland was held up this morning by a derailment at Whangamarino, near Te Kauwhata. A cattle truck of a North bound goods train jumping ttie rails between Amakura and Whangamarino at an early hour this morning was responsible for a delay of twb hours of the mixed passenger and goods train which left Auckland at 3.55 a.m. As a result of the derailment all north and south-bound traffic was delayed. The Wellington-Auckland express which arrived at Frankton at 4.31 a.m. was delayed for some time, but the line was cleared in time to allow tiitf Limited through on schedule.
