Smith, of Kitchener Street. * * * * Owing to the hold-up of the Wanganeiia in Sydney by the seamen’s strike, Madame Marsi, who accompanied the Viennese Boys’ Choir on a tour of the Dominion, will have to spend Christmas in New Zealand and she intends to visit Rotorua. m » * • May Beatty, the New Zealand actress, has the mast important role of her screen career in “Mad Love,” now being screened in Hamilton. Miss Beatty is seen as the wine-bib-bing servant of Peter Lorre, the star of the fTlm. m * * » Lady Buckleton and Miss Buckleton, of Wellington, have decided to stay in England until about the end of February, writes a London correspondent. Miss Buckleton is taking classes and gaining experience in face massage and beauty culture. During the summer months Lady Buckleton and her daughter motored about 10,000 miles in their own little car through England, Scotland, and Wales.
