ORDERED TO RETURN.
WIFE WANTED BACK. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Friday. In an action in the Supreme Court to-day Mr Justice Callan remarked that he could not understand the petitioner having taken a lawyer with him when he interviewed his wife at her mother’s home, with a view to persuading her to return to him. Tho parties are Leslie James Wall, and Mavis Amelia Wall, of Apatn, near Taurangn. Petitioner said that one morning, on returning from milking, he found a letter from his wife staling she was leaving him. She had done this on a previous occasion. Petitioner: Yes. In making an order for the wife’s return within 1) days, His Honour said the fact that on the first occasion petitioner made a successful attempt to get his wife back decided him to accept IBs sworn statement. Petitioner was sincero in wanting his wife back.
