AMATEUR ATHLETICS.
TECH. OLD BOYS V. HAMILTON. RETURN MATCH TO-MORROW. The return challenge match between ■the Auckland Technical Old Boys Club and the Hamilton Amateur Athletic and Cycle Club will be held at Rugby Park, "Hamilton, at 3 p.m. to-morrow afternoon. On their visit to Auckland a fortnight ago Hamilton were the viotors by seven points, and, as the Challenge Cup is competed for over both meetings, Technical will naturally be striving their utmost to make up their lost ground. The meeting will be decided on a full relay system, that is to say, four runners from each club running equal distances in each event, points to count three for a stralghtout win only. In the oase of Held events the best throw of each performer will be added, the club with the longest total distance being the winner of the event. Following is the Hamilton team—--100yds. (i men each 100): Keeps, Mountain, Gwynne, Benz; 880 yds. (4 men each 220) : Oldfield, Joyes, Denz, Keeps; 1 milo (4 men each 440): OldfTield, Goosman, Thompson. Pardington; 2 miles (4 men each 880): Armstrong, R. Gardiner, Erkill, Henshaw; 4 miles (4 men each t mile) : Fagan, Skcct, J. Gardner, Christie; 480 Hurdles (4 men each .120); Malcolm, Joyes, Jones. Bogun;
Shot Put: Graham, Bogun, Malcolm, Thompson; Discus Throw: Bogun, Malcolm, Thompson, Graham: hop step and jump: Joyes, Malcolm, Bogun, Gwynne.; long jump: Joyes, Malcolm, Bogun, Gwynnc; high jump: Malcolm Bogun, Joyes, Pardington; javelin: Joyes, Thompson, Graham, Malcolm, Denz (one lo be omitted.)
