A message from Dallas, Texas, states that after 16 years of prohibition the voters of that State, which in recent years was one of the few remaining “dry" strongholds, voted to /permit the sale of alcoholic liquors. Returns from yesterday’s referendum fo-day indicated a “wet” majority of 50,000 votes. The electorate also adopted by an overwhelming margin an old-age pension law.
