THE REGENT BALLROOM.

SUCCESSFUL DANCE HELD. One of the most successful dances this season was held in the Regent Ballroom on Saturday evening, when a jolly evening was spent by over 400 dancers. The innovation of two bands was most popular, Phil Swift’s Manama Band playing the modern portion of the programme, and the Radio Danco Band the old-time music. A special musical novelty was the rendering of the “Isle of Capri” by Messrs Ossie Cheesman and George Brown on two piano-accoi'deons. Mr Cheesman also gave a pianoforte rendering of Gershwin’s “Rhapsody in Blue." A delicious supper was served.
