(in the second day the chief event is the Pluinpton Handicap (£.'150), while the open six again carries stake money of £250. The Avondale Guineas has been entered for lo the extent or i'IUIO. Maidens and I wo-year-olds are well entered for in the programme which should meet with good patronage from Waikato stables.
