RADIO PARTY.

IZH CHILDRENS SESSION. Lislencrs-in, both parents and children, to the iZIt children’s session were present in very large numbers at the iZH Radio Chums' party held In the Winter Show Hall on Saturday afternoon, lo mark the closing' down of the children's hour. The afternoon was spent with an excellent and much appreciated programme given by the Radio Chums and friends of the session, and later afternoon tea was served. At the close of the parly presentations were made to ttic radio personalities, “ Goldilocks,” (Miss 'Phyllis Anchor), “Aunt Vi," (Mrs H. Absoluin) and “Uncle Jim,” by Mr G. S. Anchor, who expressed thanks for their work and interest in the children’s session. Reference was also made to “ Aunt Laura,” who had inaugurated the session. Also present was Mr W. Whitehead, formerly “ Uncle Bill." “ Uncle Jim," in returning thanks expressed lii-s personal regret at tho closing of the children’s hour which had been such an interest to him and lo the oilier radio people and expressed Hie hope that it would not bo forgotten by the Radio Chums. Brief speeches wore also made by “ Aunt Vi,” and “ Goldilocks ” and cheers were given liio “Radio Men” (Messrs G. S. and J. S. Anchor). A verv happy afternoon concluded with the singing of Auld Lang Sync.
