NQARUAWAHiA BRANCH. Mrs D. R. Welch .presided at the August meeting of the Ngaruawahia branch of -the Plunkct Society held in the Oddfellows’ Hall recently, z The nurse’s report, giving details of work carried on in the district, was read and received.
An interesting account of the conference recently held in Auckland was given by the secretary, Airs P. Feeney. At the meeting of the Advisory Board held last month it was decided that the committee Indies should organise functions throughout the ooming year to raise money to augment the building fund. When sufficient money was secured, tenders should be called for (he erection of new PRinket rooms.
