TENNIS BALL
SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION. The attendance at the tennis ball, organised by the 'committee of the Kiwilahi-Kereone Tennis Club and held in the Kereone Hall recently, far exceeded the highest expectations, visitors being present from Walton, Te Aroha, Morrlnsvllle and all surrounding districts; The hall had been tastefully decorated with multi-coloured streamers suspended over the dancers. Excellent music was provided by the Midnight Revellers’ Orchestra, of Te Aroha, and extras were played by Mrs D. T. Davies. The supper arrangements were In the charge of a ladies’ committee comprising Mesdames H. L. MacOuecn, D. Reid and J. Houston, and Misses S. Hyndham and L. Nicholls. Mr A. Cunningham was M.C.
