FIXTURE AT WHITIORA. REAL GIRL WINS MAIDEN. FAIRY FOOTSTEP'S OPEN STAKE. Tho Hamilton Coursing Club staged an all aged and maiden event on Saturday. There was a small attendance but inl-resling coursing xvas witnessed throughout the programme, few kills being accorded on the day. In the final of tho Maiden Stake Real Girl showed fine form and decisively beat Master Collins wito tired badly in Ilie final. In Iho Open Slake Fairy Footsteps displayed exceptional pace and easily led both Golden Hair and Bold Spec in ttie llrst. and second rounds respectively. In I lie final ho again outpaced Iho speedy Drotighshane lo lead by seven to eight lengths. However, Prouglishane was unlucky in having to run throe courses in the first round lo gel the Hag.
Fairy Footsteps represents flrslclnss breeding, being by the champion Australian dog, Fnlher's Footsteps from tiie imported English bitch Red Ruche.
