Reports of the progress of Enge were far from exaggerated and he drew attention to his future prospects this season by his runaway success in the Jellicoe Handicap on Saturday at Ellersllo. Although he drew the extreme outer he was on the rails and leading the field before half a furlong had been covered and from then on the issue never appeared In doubt.
