NOT JUSTIFIED
DROP ON STOCK EXCHANGE AUSTRALIA’S SOUND POSITION. THE FEAR OF WAR. United Press Assn.—Elec. Tel. Copyright. (Received Aug. 24, 3.0 p.m.) SYDNEY, August 24. The Daily Telegraph says: “There is no justification for the stump in prices on the Stock Exchange, which is due apparently to the Tear of war arising from the Italo-Abyssinian dispute. “ There is not a shadow of justification for any panic. Whether war breaks out or not Australia is economically sound, and any initial drop in prices is certain to be retrieved.”
