MISTAKE IN CALL.

HAMILTON FIRE BRIGADE. FIRE IN BRYCE STREET. Although a misunderstanding in tho announcement of the call saw the Hamilton Fire Brigade turn, out to Bridge Street Instead of Bryce Street last evening, the mistake was quickly rectified and the brigade were soon on the scene and made a gobd save. The Are was on tho premises of the Ridd Milking Machine Compand, Bryce Street, and apparently started In somo waste rubbish in the work-room at the rear of the premises. The flames had a good hold when the brigade arrived but they effected a smart save. The damage to the building and machinery amounted to about £SO. The building is owned by the Ridd Milking Machine Company and is insured in the Phoenix Office, New Plymouth.
