TROUBLE WITH A TUG.
MISHAP AT PATENT SUP. WELLINGTON Thursday. A mishap betel the Union Company's little tug Natonc while being hauled on to the patent slip at Evan’s Bay this morning. When the pull from the water commenced ttie. Natonc either slipped in the cradle or the cradle gave way, and the tug lies at a heavy angle in water which rose bight enough up the deck to enter the companion ways and reach over the hatches. Definite information is difficult to obtain. A diver lias been down investigating but what the situation there may he or what action is necessary to right the vessel lias not been disclosed. Tile situation appears to he one in which the 1 inrhoc.ir Hoard’s floating crane Hikitea might be able to give assistance.
