TO-MORROW’S GAMES. VISIT OF THAMES TEAM. HOOPER CUP PLAY. A full array of fixtures is set down for decision at Steele Park under the auspices of the Waikato Hockey Association to-morrow, when, in addition to Hie second series of games in the I Hooper Cup competition, senior and junior representative matches with Thames-llauraki are to toe decided. With Hie results of last week as a criterion, the Hooper Cup issue bears a very open aspect and tooth the games •scheduled to be decided 10-morrow should prove close and interesting encounters. Hincmoa and Old Boys should provide the best match of the day, tout it will hold little advantage over tho second game between Old Technicals and Colts. At 3 o’clock the ■Thames-Hauraki (representatives will meet the Waikato team selected To make the trip to Auckland in quest of the New Zealand Challenge Shield on August 31. The visitors early in the season played a drawn game with the Piako team, which won the White Horse Cup and last month put up a creditable showing against the Indian tourists. The Waikato Times’ correspondent at Thames yesterday described the selected eleven as toeing very strong in the back division. A great deal of interest will centre in the reorganisation of the Waikato team and, no doubt, the performances to-morrow will give the selectors a final guarantee of tile wisdom of playing Ewan as | a half and L. Spiers as a fullback. In addition to the junior competition, the Waikato junior representatives are to meet Thames-llauraki. The full draw is as follows: Representatives. Senior.—Thames-Hauraki v.
