THE WOMEN’S AUXILIARY.
MONTHLY SOCIAL AFTERNOON. On Tuesday the YAV.C.A. Women’s Auxiliary held their monthly social afternoon. There was an attendance of 35. The- programme included -songs, dances and elocution by Miss Mara Burtyl; songs, Miss L. Morphy; and elocution, Miss Blake. A competition was won by Mrs McGrail. The Rev. Frank Hay map, who was the speaker, spoke on the history and life in the Solomon Islands.
The hostesses ' for the afternoon were Mrs Bradley, Mrs Walker, and Mrs Shepherd.
