KITCHEN AFTERNOON.
PLEASANT CAMBRIDGE FUNCTION.
Congratulations and a wonderful assortment of gifts were showered upon Mrs Cullen Finlayson, formerly Miss Jean Caw, on Monday, when Mrs Norman Waddle gave in her honour a kitchen afternoon at her home in Princes Street. An amusing competition was held and won J>y Miss D. Dunne. The rooms had been decorated with spring flowers, daffodils, anemones, violets and almond blossom. Mrs Waddle received her guests wearing a navy frock coin-spotted in while. The guest of honour was wearing a suit of pale blue Angora tweed and a bat ol' black straw.
