GOLD EXPORT TAX.
MOVE FOR ABOLITION. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Thursday. A decision to launch a national campaign for the abolition of the gold export lax was made at a meeting of represenlalives of goldmining companies -held in Christchurch. It, was decided unanimously to form an organisation to watch the interests of goldmining in tiie. Dominion and a resolution urging the Government, to abolish Iho gold export lax is to be submitted lo the -Prime Minister, tiie Minister ot Finance and the Minister of Mines.
