CREW IMPRISONED.

WAIKOUAITI HELD UP. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, Wednesday. Tlie crew of the Union Company steamer Waikouaiti appeared before justices in tlie Bluff Police Court this morning, charged with disobeying the lawful commands of Hie captain lo take the vessel to sea. Twenty-three of the 2G were charged and sentenced to 21 days' imprisonment, and the three others to seven days' imprisonment.

The vessel is remaining in port meantime, and her departure for Sydney with cargo is indefinite.
