MINISTER’S VISIT.
EDUCATION IN DUNEDIN. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. The Minister of Education and of Employment, tho Hon. S. G. Smith, this morning visited the lOtago Boys and Girls’ High Schools, and met a deputation in connection with the boys’ grounds. He later inspected the High School now being built at South Dunedin, and paid a private visit to the medical school. This afternoon he met a deputation from the Education Board, and University Council, urging that the Teachers’ Training College should be reopened. The Minister will receive further deputations to-morrow, leaving for the north on Wednesday.
