SURVEY FOR NEW STRUCTURE. 'CAMBRIDGE, Tuesday. A survey of the locality of the pro» posed new Karapiro bridge is at precent being made by Mr H. Roche, and, when this is completed, work will .cffiithe approaches to the structure. , There is no doubt that work will bo . available Sor a good number of men •- within 1 ': the next few months. When the approaches are completed there will be a delay of at least six months to allow the earth to consolidate. The survey work being carried out ■at present covers an area of private land where the new road will pass, and It will be necessary for all transfer of properties to be completed before proceeding a further stage.
